Camp Cards Support Our Scouts

“A Scouts is thrifty” – It’s one of the 12 points of the “Scout Law”.

A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

Our troop always does what we can to make the most of what we have. It doesn’t take much (aside from a little time and patients) to teach the importance of the items in the Scout Law to our troop.

Of course…we also like to get outside and have fun!

Try as we might, certain expenses are unavoidable. Camp fees, a warm sleeping bag, good hiking boots, and similar items all add up over time. Our troop helps out as much as we can by keeping costs low and providing equipmen. However, it doesn’t cover everything.

That’s where Camp Cards can help.

What are Camp Cards?

Our council offers a fundraiser program called “Camp Card”. It’s essentially a plastic coupon card that contains discounts for numerous items…some of which can be used more than once!

For $10, a single Camp Card can be used for numerous discounts at local businesses. Considering that it includes discounts such as $5 off purchases at Ace Hardware, $5 off an order at American Cleaners, $10 off at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and many others, it doesn’t take much for the card to pay for itself.

The best part… Half of the proceeds from each card go directly to the Scouts in our troop.

Each geographic area has specialized Camp Cards for their specific location. Our Camp Cards include discounts for the following businesses:
