As stated earlier, we try to do everything we can to keep costs low for our Scouts and their families. We don’t charge any annual membership dues. We host numerous events throughout the year for our Scouts. When we take weekend camping trips, we do charge a small fee, but it’s a
All of that is great, but it (sadly) doesn’t mean that the expenses magically go away. We have annual BSA registration fees, advancement awards, trailer licenses and maintenance, equipment needs, and other various expenses throughout the year. Plus, the small fee we charge for weekend camping trips doesn’t cover all of the expenses. Our troop picks up the extra costs.
All of the items listed above are made possible because of your support through our annual fundraiser. Every dollar made on the event goes directly towards the support of our Scouts. Without your support, we would either have to do less or charge more. Both of those options would negatively affect our ability to provide a quality Scouting experience to our Scouts that will benefit them for a lifetime.
