Court Of Honor – Feb 2019
This past Friday was our Troop’s latest Court Of Honor event.
We typically hold 3-4 of these each year. The events focus on the accomplishments of our Scouts since the last Court Of Honor. Most of the focus is place on merit badges and Scout ranks that have been earned by our Scouts.
Family and friends are invited to each of these events to help celebrate the accomplishments of our Scouts. Each event is a little different. We kept this one pretty simple given that our annual lock-in immediately followed the event.
As usual, the list of accomplishments and awards was huge! Here are some of the merit badges that we focused on at this event:
- Basketry
- Citizenship in the Community
- Citizenship in the Nation
- Citizenship in the World
- Cooking
- Crime Prevention
- Disabilities Awareness
- Family Life
- Fingerprinting
- Movie Making
- Personal Management
- Rifle Shooting
- Traffic Safety
In addition to the above awards, a number of our newer Scouts had earned their Scout Rank.
CONGRATS to all of our Scouts for your accomplishments!
