Hiking at Mastodon State Historic Site
This month our focus is on backpacking. This gave us the opportunity to start easing back to our normal schedule with a morning hike!
As the COVID situation appears to be getting better, it allows us to also start migrating back to our normal schedule. For this month, we decided to take a short hike at Mastodon State Historic Site.
Typical for March… The weather has been a bit crazy. However, today we were very fortunate. Despite days of rain and cool temps over the past week, today was absolutely gorgeous.
We had quite a group with us today! Aside from the Scouts and adult leaders from our troop, we had some parents join us, along with some siblings. We also had a few Arrow Of Light Scouts from a nearby pack join us for the day, which was great!
