Celebrating our new Eagle Scouts

Eagle is the highest rank attainable in Scouts BSA. This month we had the honor of recognizing two of our Scouts who attained this rank.

It is estimated that, since its inception in 1911, only about 4% of all Scouts attain the rank of Eagle. As such, it is an accomplishment that is taken very seriously, and when completed, it is celebrated. This month we (finally) had an opportunity to celebrate this accomplishment by not one, but two of our troop’s Scouts.

Tyler and Christina have been Scouts in our troop for a number of years. As a result of completing the Eagle Rank requirements, they have participated in countless events with the other Scouts. Most importantly, they have proven their ability to be excellent leaders, as each of them has served in numerous leadership roles in the troop.

These two Scouts completed all of their requirements months ago. However, as with so many things. COVID prevented us from being able to properly recognize this awesome accomplishment. Thankfully, this month we were finally able to have a proper ceremony to recognize and celebrate the achievement.

Congratulations to our Scouts!
