- All payments are due May 1
- Final rosters are due May 1
What is Philmont
- Philmont is amazing…and hard – Be prepared!
- Base camp is at 6,400 feet
- Treks go up to 12,441 feet
- Temps range from 35-90 F
- Humidity is very low

- The Advisor’s Guidebook will be mailed out before Thanksgiving
- The Guidebook to Adventure will be mailed to all crew members

Crew Requirements and Suggestions
- At least 3 from each crew must have completed Wilderness First Aid training
- Health forms are required for everyone and can be submitted early
- Make sure any medications you bring are not expired
- Start reviewing the packing list
- Learn how to use the gear as a crew
- A rainsuit is recommended
- Old menus (for reference) are available online
- Start a fitness plan with practice hikes as a crew
