There are a lot of expenses associated with Scouting…both for the Scouts and our troop!

While we do everything we can to keep costs low for our Scouts and the troop, those expenses are still a reality. Uniforms, registration fees, camping equipment, troop trailer maintenance…it all adds up.

By supporting our troop, you help reduce the financial burden on our Scouts and their families. Reducing costs for our Scouts allows them to participate in more of our events. Helping to offset troop expenses allow us to direct more funds towards our Scouts, weekend campouts, and other activities. Every little bit helps!

Alternative Ways To Give

Many of the buttons below allow you to provide online donations to our troop online. If you prefer to provide the funds directly to us (and avoid the online credit card fees), just reach out to us using the link at the bottom of this page.

Chili Dinner and Silent Auction

Every year our troop hosts a Chili Dinner and Silent Auction. This is our only troop-specific fundraiser, and the funds raised from this event allow us to waive registration fees, provide camping equipment, maintain our camping trailers, and cover other expenses. Please consider attending the next fundraiser or donating items for our auction!

Youth Registration

The BSA registration fee is $100 per Scout for one year. There are also registration fees for our adult volunteer leaders. Our troop fully covers this cost, removing this financial burden on our Scouts, their families, and our volunteers. Please consider covering all or part of a Scout’s registration fee.

Weekend Campout Fees

To help offset the cost of food and reservation fees for weekend campouts, we only charge a $15 fee per event per Scout, and we never require our adult volunteers to pay anything in order to attend. Please consider donating towards a Scout’s weekend camping fee.

Summer Camp

One of the most memorable events for Scouts is the annual week-long Summer Camp. Every year our troop attends Summer Camps that range from local camps in our area to programs in other councils as far away as West Virginia and Michigan.

The average registration fee for each Scout is around $400. Covering part or all of this fee gives more Scouts the opportunity to attend these amazing events!

Troop Equipment and Expenses

Our troop provides items our Scouts use throughout the year, such as meeting materials, tents, stoves, cooking gear, and other similar items. We also have 2 trailers that we use for campouts and other events, which involve additional costs such as licensing, tires, and other maintenance.

Your donation to help cover these costs allows us to provide even more for our Scouts!
